I have recently purchased 3 item shower dispensers for all of my units. I plan to offer shampoo, body gel and conditioner. I am unable to find these products in bulk; can anyone be of assistance

The first place I'd look is at Green Suites http://www.greensuites.com/index_2.htm. I then Googled for bulk shampoo and found several options, including:

For bulk shampoo and body wash try

also http://www.vermontsoap.com sells liquid soap and shampoo in bulk if you buy wholesale. Their products are more expensive since they are totally organic. Must buy at least $100.00 for wholesale.

We bought our bulk shampoo at BJ's wholesale (like Sams and Costco). Got a gallon of Tresemme shampoo for less than $10.00

we bought the aviva dispensers made by the company mentioned. They sent us samples of their gallon gels and shampoo which where fine but the shipping from Canada made them more expensive than we wanted to pay.

I recently came across a local company near me (North georgia Mountains) that will start making their organic soaps/shower gels in liquid form soon ( end of June 2005). They are pure castile shower gels with Aloe. Web Address is http://www.greenstonesoap.com/soaps.html

Went by their store yesterday and sampled some of their soaps. They will be offering a Lavender, a Patchouli blend (their signature blend called Ancient Evening), a lime and a spearmint.

Very interesting. What flavors have you tried so far?

I just had another thought about bulk soaps -- Dr Brauner's soaps. A quart or liter bottle of soap would be diluted as it was put into a dispenser, helping it last probably about as long as a gallon of regular liquid soap. I couldn't find it online, but I'm sure asking around will help you locate it.

You can buy Dr Bronners in the gallon size at http://www.goddess-within.com/drbrlisoalve.html. its expensive if you do not dilute.

We like the peppermint at Dr Bronners and you are right about the dilution. Its strong if you use it straight. With dilution I question if it separates in the dispenser over time (soap and water, etc)? Would hate to take the dispenser off the wall to mix.

In terms of the Greenstone we tried them all at their store yesterday and liked them. I think their products are comparable to Vermont Soap Co. mentioned on an earlier post. Greenstone is local is why I am thinking about using them, no shipping cost for me.

In terms of price the www.spapartners.com has the best gallon pricing. We bought a gallon of the European Herbal for less than $10.00/gallon and our guests like it. We also use it personally, good lather, scent. Noticed the Houstonian Hotel/resort in Houston uses their products which is a good testimonial. I stayed there in the past on business, nice place. Was also the temporary home of George Bush Senior when he left the presidency.
